An Eveneing With Miss February

A Cathedral Friends Event held at The Minster School, Nottingham Rd, Southwell, NG25 0LG

To mark the 10th anniversaary of the first Alternative W.I. Calendar and the issue of a new calendar for 2010, Calendar Girl Angela Baker will talk on why 11 (respectable!) ladies took their clothes off for charity - and why it is being done again. Hear the amazing story that inspired the film and the West End stage show about what friendship can achieve in the face of adversity.

Nottinghamshire Federation Women's Institutes
Apple Pie Competition 2009:

Open to everyone including men! Entry forms and full details available from Notts Fed of Women's Institutes, Trent Bridge House, Beastmarket Hill, Newark, NG24 1BN and local libraries from 30th April. Judging will take place in Southwell Library. WI Cookbook also available.

Admiral Rodney:
WI stalls, refreshments served all day including delicious homemade cakes.

Southwell Workhouse Apple Day:
Heritage cookery demonstrations, Apple Walks and Talks, Apple Crafts. All day entertainment

Southwell Library - Bramley Painting Competition:
Open to children and adults. Full details available on entry forms available though Art Clubs and local libraries from 30 April. Special Paint a Plate Competition.

Southwell Youth Centre:
Join in with a variety of games and competitions fun for all ages.

Saracen's Head Hotel:
Morris Men dancing in the courtyard. Enjoy some delicious Bramley dishes over the weekend.
